For over 25 years, Matthew Ward has innovated pre-visualization, virtual cinematography, and digital filmmaking pipelines and processes, working directly with major motion-picture filmmakers and game devs to help realize their vision. As an independent director and filmmaker, Ward’s work has been featured by several international film festivals, earning awards for his commercial and music video content. In 2013, Ward entered video game cinematics and storytelling, creative directing all cinematic content for Bungie’s Destiny franchise and is now working within Gearbox Entertainment’s Properties Division, focused on realizing transmedia opportunities on multiple IPs through the newly created Cinema & Cinematics Department.
