Dan Goldman
Biography
Dan Goldman is a research scientist at Google, and an affiliate associate professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Washington, where he received his PhD in June 2007. His research spans computer graphics, computer vision, and human-computer interaction. From 2015 to 2022, Dan led the computer vision R&D team for Project Starline, developing high-fidelity real-time 3D human capture and rendering technologies. He has also worked at Adobe's Creative Technologies Lab, creating the Content-Aware Fill techniques for inpainting and reshuffling image contents in Adobe Photoshop, and creating visual effects at Industrial Light and Magic.
