Biography
I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at UC Santa Barbara, co-director of the MIRAGE Lab, and affiliated faculty in the Four Eyes Lab.

My research is on rendering in Computer Graphics. I mainly aimed at rendering photo-realistic visual appearance at real world complexity, building theoretical foundations mathematically and physically to reveal the principles of the visual world. I also took the first steps exploiting Machine Learning approaches for physically based rendering.
