Yu-Chou Chiang is an assistant professor at the Department of Civil Engineering at National Chung Hsing University. He investigates the interrelation between structural design, free-form construction, and digital fabrication. He worked as a structural engineer for several firms, and as a researcher at TU Delft and KAUST. In 2023, he started the assistant professorship researching membrane shells, architectural geometry, and programmable materials, aiming to make the design and fabrication of elegant forms more efficient.
