Nuria Pelechano is an Associate Professor at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, member of the ViRVIG (Visualization, Virtual Reality and Graphics Interaction Research Group) and coordinator of the Master on Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality. She is currently the president of the Eurographics Spanish Chapter. She received a BSc from the Universitat de Valencia, a master from the University College London, and a PhD in Computer and Information Systems from the University of Pennsylvania. She is associate editor for Computer Graphics Forum, Computers&Graphics, and Frontiers in VR. Her research interest includes computer graphics, animation, human-avatar interaction, embodiment and virtual reality.
