Emily is currently a Technical Director on 2023’s feature, “Wish”, working on USD pipeline integration, optimization, lighting, and non-photorealistic rendering. Emily joined Disney in late 2020 as part of the Tools and Workflow team. They have worked on USD core pipeline projects alongside the show technical direction teams for the 2021 Oscar®-winning feature “Encanto”, and 2022’s “Strange World”.
