Jason Lawrence is a Director at Google in Seattle where he co-founded and currently leads the research and engineering team behind Project Starline. Prior to joining Google, Dr. Lawrence was associate professor of computer science at the University of Virginia. He holds a PhD in computer science from Princeton University and a BS in electrical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. His recent work has focused on high-fidelity real-time 3D imaging, 3D display technologies, digital relighting, and real-time communications.
