Zhujun Bamboo Wang has loved animation since she was a kid. She carried her passion through college and graduate school, receiving a bachelor's degree in 2D Animation and a Master's in VFX. Bamboo has worked in LA, Beijing, and Montreal. She has worked as an FX Artist on Suicide Squad, the Fantastic Beasts franchise, Alien: Covenant, Ad Astra, Narcos, Scoob, and more. In the spring of 2021 Bamboo joined DNEG Animation, and feels fortunate to have worked on Nimona as a first time lead.
