Krzysztof Rost has been Effects Technical Director at Pixar since 2015. He started his career as an effects artist at Xaos in 1994 and joined PDI/DreamWorks Animation in 1997. He graduated from the SVA, NY with an MFA'94 and State University of Purchase, NY with an BFA'92. Since 2012 Krzysztof has been mentoring students from FilmAkademie in Ludwigsburg, Germany. Krzysztof was nominated for an Annie Award and VES for effects work on Shrek3, MegaMind and Peabody & Sherman. Film credits include Mission Impossible 2, A.I., Minority Report, Madagascar, The Rise of Guardians, Piper, Finding Dory, Incredibles2, Soul and Elemental.
