Biography
James (Jim) McCann is a Associate Professor at Carnegie Mellon University. He builds physical, digital, and theoretical tools that help people create things. His interests range from textiles fabrication and robot design to digital painting and predictive gardening. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University (2010) and Bachelor's Degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Michigan (2005).
