Stephen Marshall joined Pixar in 2012 and worked as an FX Lead on “The Good Dinosaur,” “Cars 3,” and “Onward.” Marshall then worked as an FX Artist on “Monsters University,” “Finding Dory,” “Incredibles 2,” “Inside Out,” and “Soul” before serving as the FX Supervisor for Disney and Pixar’s feature film “Elemental”.

As an FX Artist, Stephen gravitates toward complex simulations in fire, water, and destruction and has received an Academy Award for Scientific Achievement for his work on large-scale rigid body simulations.

Prior to Pixar, Stephen began his FX journey in 2000 at Sony Pictures Imageworks where he worked on several feature length visual effects movies.
