Ron Williams graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1997. He worked as a freelance animator in Chicago before moving to Los Angeles to work on Disney's Dinosaur. He is currently working at DreamWorks Animation as a CFX lead, starting on his 20th feature there.
