Biography
Jungdam Won is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Seoul National University (SNU) in Korea. Prior to joining SNU, he worked as a research scientist at Meta AI (formerly Facebook) for 3.5 years. Before that, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Movement Research Lab at SNU, working under the supervision of Prof. Jehee Lee. He earned his Ph.D. and B.S. from SNU in 2017 and 2011, respectively, and was awarded the global Google Ph.D. fellowship program in Robotics in 2016 during his Ph.D. program. In terms of academic services, he has served as a committee member for several prestigious international conferences, including technical paper program and course committees for ACM SIGGRAPH Asia, and technical paper program committees for Eurographics, Pacific Graphics, Motion Interaction and Games, CASA, and IEEE AIVR. Additionally, he has worked as a reviewer for various conferences and journals, such as SIGGRAPH/SIGGRAPH Asia (ACM TOG), CVPR, RSS, CoRL, Eurographics (CGF), IEEE TVCG, and more.
