Ye Pan is an Associate Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where she leads a "Character Lab" and focuses on using virtual environments and computer graphics technologies to advance character animation and avatar performance, and thus improve user experience. She previously worked at Disney Research Los Angeles, and received Master and PhD in computer science from University College London. She has served as Associate Editor of the International Journal of Human Computer Studies, and a regular member of IEEE virtual reality program committees.
