Biography
Hyunjung Kim is a designer, researcher, and educator who designs and experiments with interactive products that explore the future of everyday life. Her work has garnered attention at international conferences such as ACM SIGGRAPH and CHI. She has received several design awards, including the Red Dot: Best of the Best and the iF Concept Design Award.

Hyunjung Kim majored in Industrial Design at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), where she also received her Ph.D. in 2013. She has over a decade of wide-ranging professional experience across several leading research institutions, including NASA Ames Research Center, KAIST, and Sony Computer Science Laboratories. She is currently a project researcher at the DLX design lab at the Institute of Industrial Science at the University of Tokyo, where she conducts innovative science and design collaboration projects.
