The Efficacy of Discrepancy in Computer Graphics

DescriptionWe survey discrepancy metrics and use them to estimate the quality of various point sets produced from sample generators in two dimensions. We correlate estimations to actual performances, integrating a number of signals to determine which metrics have the greatest utility as predictors of quality for computer graphics applications.
