Beyond GGX and Beckmann: Practical Tools for Multiple-scattering BSDFs With General NDFs

DescriptionWe present new tools for computing multiple scattering from rough surfaces with any NDF. We show that the Student-T NDF closely matches the measured data of rough glass, and provides vNDF sampling for it, all in a validated reference codebase that is easily extended and supports biscale roughness.
