Estimating Discrete Total Curvature With Per Triangle Normal Variation
DescriptionWe introduce a simple yet effective method for total curvature estimation that is easy to integrate within existing libraries for mesh processing and point cloud processing. Our results demonstrate that this method surpasses the accuracy of standard implementations that estimate the shape operator.
