DescriptionIn 3D shape reconstruction using template mesh deformation, the problem setting requires maintaining vertex connectivity, which can lead to under-sampling issues near shape details and inaccuracies. Our novel mesh density adaptation method addresses this challenge without changing vertex connectivity, enhancing accuracy in tasks like inverse rendering and non-rigid surface registration.
