Galaxy Maps: Localized Foliations for Bijective Volumetric Mapping

DescriptionA method to compute volumetric maps and parametrizations over 3D domains. Instead of only optimizing for bijectivity, it is ensured by construction. Maps from arbitrary objects of ball-topology to arbitrary convex or star-shaped domains are supported. Efficiency is achieved by applying a generalized simplicial foliation technique in a localized manner.
