Generative Design of Sheet Metal Structures

DescriptionSheet Metal (SM) fabrication is a common metalworking technique. Modern SM design tools are based on manual workflows that yield suboptimal results. We present a framework for the first automatic design of SM parts that generates high-performing manufacturable parts that adhere to the imposed manufacturing and engineering constraints.
