Helix-free Stripes for Knit Graph Design
SessionFabulous Fabrication: From Knitting to Circuits
DescriptionThe utility of stripe patterning algorithms for knit planning has been hindered by helical stripe formation. We present novel linear constraints in a one-form-based framework that eliminates such helices. Our framework also produces smoother globally informed courses/wales and allows for explicit control of stitch irregularities and course/wale alignment.
