Baoquan Chen is an endowed Boya Professor of Peking University. His research interests generally lie in computer graphics, computer vision, and visualization. His publications include 60+ papers in ACM Transactions on Graphics (TOG)/SIGGRAPH/SIGGRAPH_Asia. Chen received Best Paper Awards in several prestigious conferences, such as SIGGRAPH Asia (2022), SIGGRAPH (2022 Honorary Mention), and IEEE Visualization (2005). He chaired several prestigious conferences such as 3D Vision 2017, SIGGRAPH Asia 2014, and IEEE Visualization 2005. He received the 2003 NSF CAREER award and the 2014 Outstanding Achievement Award of Chinagraph. He is an IEEE Fellow, and was inducted to IEEE Visualization Academy in 2021 and ACM SIGGRAPH Academy in 2024.
