Haoran Xie has been an associate professor at Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) since 2023. He received his Ph.D. degree from JAIST in 2015. After that, he worked in the Computer Science Department in the University of Tokyo (2015–2018), and was an assistant professor and senior lecturer in JAIST (2018–2023). His main research interests are in interactive computer graphics and user interfaces.
