Yan Zhang is a postdoctoral researcher at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He received Ph.D. degree from Nara Institute of Science and Technology in 2021, under the supervision of Prof. Kiyoshi Kiyokawa. He built the first wide field-of-view occlusion-capable OSTHMD in the doctoral program and now works on improving the versatility of occlusion-capable OSTHMDs. His research interests are near-to-eye displays, rendering techniques, and human perception in AR/VR/MR.
