Issei FUJISHIRO is currently a Professor at Department of Information and Computer Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University, Japan. He received his M. E. in information sciences and electronics in 1985 from University of Tsukuba and his Doctor of Science in information sciences from the University of Tokyo in 1988. His research interests include modeling paradigms and shape representations, applied visualization design and lifecycle management, and smart ambient media with multi-modal displays. He is a member of Science Council of Japan and an inductee to IEEE Visualization Academy.
