Dorota Kamińska graduated in Automatic Control and Robotics and completed postgraduate studies in Biomedical image processing and analysis at Lodz University of Technology. She received her PhD degree at Lodz University of Technology in 2014. The topic of her thesis was "Emotion recognition from spontaneous
speech". She gained experience during the TOP 500 Innovators program at Haas School of Business, University
of California. Currently she is an educator and researcher at Institute of Mechatronics and Information
Systems. She is passionate about affective computing for practical appliances.
