Baptiste Van Opstal is Head of Look at DreamWorks Animation, working with all production departments to develop techniques and workflows to achieve the 3D stylized look. He joined Dreamworks Animation in 2009, and worked in the FX department for 10 years.
Baptiste has been nominated twice to VES Awards for best effect simulations, and presented multiple talks at the Siggraph. Prior to that, he worked for 7 years in France as a character animator, and director in the advertising industry. Baptiste studied animation and drawing in Supinfocom Valenciennes and ESAG/Penninghen in Paris.
