Jason Ortiz is a second-year Ph.D. Student in the UCF VARLab and is advised by Dr. Carolina Cruz-Neira. Prior to starting his Ph.D., he was a Software Engineer at Microsoft Mixed Reality and Power BI. His research is focused on using Extended Reality (XR) technology for social computing applications such as remote teamwork and communication.
