Sébastien Hillaire is a Principal Rendering Engineer at Epic Games, focusing on the Unreal Engine renderer. He is pushing for visual quality, performance and innovations in many areas, such as physically based shading, volumetrics or visual effects. Before joining Epic Games, he worked at Dynamixyz, then Criterion Games and Frostbite at Electronic Arts.
