Avril Hug studied at the MoPa school in Arles for 5 years, graduating in 2016. Her student film "Sirocco" won numerous awards at festivals and was crowned the jury's favorite at the diploma ceremony. Avril began her career in Paris as CG Generalist for Capsule Studio and Les Monstres on video game trailers like "The Surge" and commercial advertisements. She moved to London in 2017 to work at DNEG Animation as a Surfacing Artist on films like "Ron's Gone Wrong', 'Entergalactic' and 'Nimona'. She was promoted to Lead Character Surfacing in 2021 during the production of 'Entergalactic'.
