Raffles City, 3D computer animation, fully renered, lighted and shaded, one minute in length, is a flight around and into a 3D model of the I.M. Pei building, Raffles City, under construction in Singapore. Sandy Pei welcomed Darcy Gerbarg to their office for the purpose of selecting which of their buildings she would use for her animated architectural art piece. Darcy Gerbarg selected Raffles City and worked with Ralph Heisel, lead architect at I.M. Pei. The animation, Raffles City, was created in 1984 at Magi Synthavision, by Darcy Gerbarg, Artist and Eugene (Gene) Miller, VP Technology, Magi Synthavision.
