Pink McDowall is a Managing Fellow at Intuitive Surgical, where they have developed a variety of telerobotic vision systems over the past 15 years. These systems include small stereoscopic endoscopes, stereo displays, and fluorescence imaging capabilities. Intuitive's da Vinci robots are used worldwide, and surgeons have performed more than 10 million robotic soft tissue procedures. Pink's career began at NASA Ames and continued at Fakespace Labs with Mark Bolas and Eric Lorimer. Fakespace Labs was a pioneer in the development of early VR gear, including Molly, Boom, Pinch Glove, stereo projection systems, and the pancake based Wide 5 HMD.
