Biography
Kon Hyong Kim is a Postdoctoral Scholar for the AlloSphere Research Group at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He focuses on generating mixed reality installation of various scales, and developing software/hardware infrastructure for projection-based virtual environments. His artwork mainly focuses on exploring the sense of presence and immersion perceived from these environments, and high dimensional mathematical structures. Other key research interests are distributed rendering systems, advanced display surface constructions, and rapid display surface calibration. www.konhyong.com
