Ted Ty is Global Head of Character Animation for DNEG Animation and the Animation Director on ‘Nimona’.

Before joining DNEG, Ted helped establish L’Atelier Animation in Montreal. He was the Co-Director and Head of Animation on ‘Fireheart’ and Animation Director on ‘Ballerina’.

Prior to that, Ted was at DreamWorks Animation, his credits include ‘Kung Fu Panda’, ‘Shrek Forever After’, ‘Puss in Boots’, ‘How to Train Your Dragon 2’ and ‘Rise of the Guardians’.

He started his career at Walt Disney Animation and contributed to iconic films like ‘The Lion King’, ‘Pocahontas’, ‘Mulan’ and ‘Lilo & Stitch’.
