Michelle Wu is a Technical Director at Walt Disney Animation Studios, where she is currently working on the upcoming feature film, Wish. After graduating from the University of California San Diego with a B.S. in Computer Science, her career in the animation industry began as a Technical Assistant at Lucasfilm Animation, where she worked on the episodic series Star Wars Resistance and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Her first SIGGRAPH conference experience was as a Student Volunteer at SIGGRAPH Asia in 2015. She has continued to volunteer over the years in different capacities at SIGGRAPH and SIGGRAPH Asia, and is currently serving on the Student Volunteer Program Subcommittee for SIGGRAPH Asia 2023 which will be held in Sydney, Australia.
