Biography
Mia currently works as a Research Engineer Intern at Adobe's Research Engineering and Design Lab. In the fall of 2023, she will be pursuing her master's degree in Computer Science at Stanford University.

She recently completed her undergraduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University, majoring in Computer Science and Design. During her time at CMU, Mia had the privilege of being advised by Professor Jun-Yan Zhu in the area of generative visual systems.

Alongside her technical pursuits, Mia has a passion for creating educational comics on computer science topics. Through her comics, she aims to make complex concepts more accessible and engaging for learners. With over 60 illustrations, Mia has conceptualized, designed, and distributed visual explanations on various topics, including diffusion models, autoencoders, GANs, Raytracing, and Bounding Volume Hierarchy. Her artwork has been selected and featured in tech community blogs and university teaching materials.
