Andy Lin has been working in the Computer Animation Industry for over 25 years as a software developer. Currently, Andy is a Staff Engineer at Walt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS). He plays a key role in developing many tools for modeling, rigging, layout and animation. He has co-authored seven talks and one course in Siggraph and enjoys sharing his knowledge with the industry and academia. Andy graduated from the University of Southern California with a Ph.D. in computer science. He is credited in sixteen Disney films including Strange World, Encanto, Raya and the Last Dragon, and Frozen 2.
