Barry Dempsey is a Senior Lighting and Compositing Artist and a CG Supervisor for feature films, who currently leads lighting at Double Negative (DNEG) Vancouver, BC. Starting as a stage lighter, he transitioned to digital tools at Crawford DesignEFX in Atlanta in the late 1980's, where he worked on "Rose From the Dead," one of the first performance-capture shorts, in 1991. His feature film work started with Batman Returns and Hollow Man, and and he also created CGI for games like Redneck Rampage, 007: Nightfire, and NHL 2004. Other credits include Kung-Fu Panda, Shrek Forever After and Avengers: Infinity War.
