Biography
Ryan Millet is a musician and computer programmer based in Goleta, California. Working primarily with applications of computer-aided composition (CAC), his work is oriented around the composition of generative algorithms that draw upon the forms and practices commonly associated with music of the ancient past but imbued with influences from contemporary mathematics, biology, and the visual arts. Ryan holds a degree in Computer Science and Electronic Music from the University of California, Santa Cruz and is currently pursuing a MSc in Media Arts & Technology at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
