Tobias Höllerer, Professor of Computer Science, directs the Four Eyes Laboratory at the University of California, Santa Barbara, conducting research in the four I’s of Imaging, Interaction, and Innovative Interfaces. Prof. Höllerer obtained his PhD in computer science from Columbia University. His work on “Anywhere Augmentation” demonstrated that even passive use of augmented reality can improve the experience for subsequent users. Dr. Höllerer is co-author of "Augmented Reality: Principles and Practice", as well as over 250 peer-reviewed journal and conference publications in the areas of augmented and virtual reality, computer vision and machine learning, and intelligent user interfaces.
