Dr Liviu Constantinescu is the DevOps Lead at Animal Logic, one of the world’s leading independent creative digital studios. His PhD thesis was on biomedical multimedia, focusing on networked telemedicine systems for radiology. He has since applied his multimedia and big data expertise to clinical genomics, with a lengthy stint as one of the key technical innovators behind Genome.One, the southern hemisphere’s first (and at the time only) accredited provider of clinical-grade (ISO15189) whole genome sequencing. Having led the charge into highly-automated clinical pipelines, container orchestration and cloud computing in this context, he has since moved on to do the same in the creative space, developing Australia’s first cloud rendering pipeline for Animation and VFX.
