James Knight oversees all media and entertainment initiatives for Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) worldwide. He leads the team charged with integrating partnerships with software used in the film industry, including VFX, CGI, physical production, and post-production. Knight and his team also collaborate directly with some of the biggest names in film, television, and digital media. Knight has been working in the film industry for over 20 years, throughout production, post-production, visual effects, and virtual production. He is a member of the Visual Effects Society (VES), a member of the British Academy of Los Angeles (BAFTA), where he served on the board from 2010-2016, and a member of the Oscars/Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).
