Biography
Dr. Anjali Tripathi is an astrophysicist and inaugural NASA Exoplanet Science Ambassador – the lead science communicator for NASA’s exoplanet program. Based at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), she also designs new space missions and contributes to climate change research. Tripathi is a Research Associate of the Smithsonian and a science communicator featured by the National Academies, HBO, PBS, and TED. She serves on the L.A. County Public Health Department COVID data team, and she previously led science policy for the White House and USDA. Tripathi holds degrees in physics and astrophysics from Harvard (PhD), Cambridge (MPhil), and MIT (SB).
