Metempsychosis in Media, Performance, and Sleep Choreography

DescriptionCan we choreograph sleep? In the context of cyborg posthumanism and technology-enabled possibilities, the concept of metempsychosis evolves in an ongoing exchange between mythology and technology. This talk presents interdisciplinary research creation about oneiric mind-body relations through real-time, sensor-based procedural avatar and creative approaches to motion capture in sleep.
