Brain-Machine Interface for neurorehabilitation and human augmentation
DescriptionBrain-Machine Interface (BMI) utilizes AI analysis of real-time brain waves to visualize and manipulate neural activity in stroke patients. The robot attached to the paralyzed fingers provides movement assistance, along with somatosensory feedback through electrical stimulation. This approach aims to stimulate the rewiring in the brain, leading to improved functional recovery. This technology also shows promise for enhancing sports performance and musical skills, as well as neurorehabilitation for various patients with neurological disorders.
