Roadkill: Nesting Laser-Cut Objects for Fast Assembly
DescriptionRoadkill converts 3D models to 2D cutting plans for laser cutting—such that the resulting layout allows for fast assembly. Roadkill achieves this with the help of a visual language that conveys assembly instructions directly in the generated layout and by collocating plates to be joined, thereby minimizing visual search.
