Neural Volumetric Reconstruction for Coherent Synthetic Aperture Sonar
SessionNeural Capturing
DescriptionSynthetic aperture sonar (SAS) is used for high-resolution acoustic imaging, typically of underwater environments. Hardware and measurement limitations pose challenges for image reconstruction. We design an analysis-by-synthesis optimization using neural fields and a differentiable acoustic model for coherent scene reconstructions. We validate our method on air and water SAS data.
