41. ExudedVestibule: Enhancing Mid-air Haptics through Galvanic Vestibular Stimulation
DescriptionThis study introduces a system combining air cannon tactile perception and galvanic vestibular stimulation (GVS). A user study showed enhanced tactile sensations across multiple body locations without impacting physical sway, suggesting potential applications in virtual reality, particularly for augmenting existing air vortex ring haptics use cases.
