Ioannis Gkioulekas
Biography
Ioannis Gkioulekas is an Assistant Professor at the Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University, where he works broadly on computer vision, computer graphics, and computational imaging. He has a PhD and MS from Harvard University, where he was advised by Todd Zickler, and a Diploma from the National Technical University of Athens, where he worked with Petros Maragos. Particular problems he is interested in include non-line-of-sight imaging, tissue imaging, interferometric imaging systems, physics-based rendering, and differentiable rendering. For his work, he has received the Best Paper Award at CVPR 2019, the Sloan Research Fellowship, and the NSF CAREER award.
